According to SSI Data* (see chart below) two Keen men’s styles, the Newport H2 and the Newport, sit atop the Top Sellers for this subcategory, with Teva scoring five models in the top ten. The Teva women’s Verra, Tirra and Olowahu styles round out the top five.

Outdoor/Action Sports Sandals dollar sales increased in the low-teens as unit sales grew in the mid-single-digits in the trailing 13-week period ended July 8, resulting in an increase in Average Selling Prices (ASPs) of 5.2 percent.
Trail-Specific Sandal style sales, the largest subcategory contributing over half the total category sales, increased in the mid-teens in the trailing 13-week period.
Olukai Women’s Ohana Thong Sandal
Outdoor/Action Sports Thong Sandal sales grew in the mid-single-digits for the period on the strength of the Olukai and Reef Brands.
Outdoor Specialty segment sales had the largest increase in the trailing 13-weeks.
Internet sales increased in the mid-teens, as Big Box & Mall Specialty and Chain Specialty sales grew in the high-single-digits.
The Footwear Retailer segment declined in the high-single-digits in the period.
