Spyder Active Sports Inc. announces the development of its new North American showroom located in the 621 Building on Kalamath Street in downtown Denver.

In collaboration with The Public Works, Wink Inc, Icelantic and a slew of other creative powerhouses, Spyder is the anchor tenant in a winter sports incubator facility that is taking a fresh perspective on business partnerships and how brands engage clients and the community.

Located on one of the busiest intersections in Denver and in close proximity to the annual Snowsports Industries America tradeshow, the new brand showroom will cater to pre-line apparel showings to key accounts and consumer media. The design for the space was inspired by the brand's ethos, reflecting the heritage of the company while emphasizing its leadership in performance apparel. “Visually it speaks to our iconic product, irreverence, authenticity and self-expression,” said Brady Collings, visual marketing manager at Spyder who is overseeing the design and layout of the space.

In keeping with the environmental sustainability tenets of the building's occupants, Spyder is lessening its build consumption by repurposing its existing tradeshow booth materials in the space build out. In addition, the company is using recycled and sustainable materials throughout the space to lessen the environmental impact during the initial build and future remodels. Materials include elements of glass, wood, bamboo, tile, concrete and metal.

The 30,000 square foot progressive and modular building will also house a gallery, boutique retail space, photo studio, fabrication shop, fashion design incubator, and a rooftop deck and event space. The space will function as a premier place of business during the day and flex into a unique event space for art shows, movie premieres, parties and more in the after hours. The grand opening of the 621 Building is slated for late September 2010.
