American Outdoor Brands Acquires LaserLyte

American Outdoor Brands Corp., a provider of firearms and related products, on Tuesday announced that its Electro-Optics Division, Crimson Trace Corp., has completed the acquisition of LaserLyte, a provider of laser training and sighting products for the consumer market. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Burris Optics announces its partnership agreement effective immediately with USA Shooting. The partnership makes Burris the official 2019 optics provider of America’s Shooting Team. As the presenting sponsor USA Shooting will announce a monthly “Burris Best” spotlighting the top athletic performance of a USA Shooting Team athlete.

The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), representing the nation’s recreational boat, engine and marine accessory manufacturers, on Thursday announced that retail unit sales of new powerboats were up an estimated 4 percent in 2018 to approximately 280,000 units, the highest total since 2007.

GSM Outdoors LLC, a multi-brand manufacturer of specialized hunting and shooting products, has acquired Mainstream Holdings, the Windom, MN-based company that owns and operates Muddy Outdoors, Hawk and Big Game Treestands. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
