Sport Chalet, Inc. will open its newest shops, a 45,000 square foot store located in the Eastridge Shopping Center in San Jose, Calif. on Friday, Nov. 10th. This is the Company's 43rd store.
A grand opening celebration and sale is scheduled for Friday, November 10th through Sunday, November 12th. Grand opening activities will include the Gale Webb Extreme Sports & Air Show, a fishing seminar with celebrated author, radio and television host Ronnie Kovach, sports demonstrations and free giveaways. On Friday morning at 9:30 a.m., the San Jose Chamber of Commerce President, Pat Dando, and other members, along with Sport Chalet General Manager Kyle Costello, will kick off the festivities with a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony. The Lincoln High School band will perform at the opening ceremony.
Sport Chalet will have several parking lot activities, including a free Rock Climbing Wall, Inflatable Games and vendor booths showcasing new products. Customers may enter to win a GRAND PRIZE Columbia Hiking Package, including a pair of sleeping bags, a tent, men's and women's apparel, shoes and hats. In addition, hourly prizes will be drawn all weekend long.
