Sport Chalet, Inc. will celebrate the grand opening of its new 40,000 sq. ft. store located in San Marcos, California. This location will feature an on-site SCUBA training pool. This is the Company's 44th store.
A grand opening celebration and sale is scheduled for Friday, November 17th through Sunday, November 19th. Grand opening activities will include the Gale Webb Extreme Sports & Air Show, sports demonstrations and free giveaways. There will also be a fishing seminar by celebrated author, radio and television host Ronnie Kovach and by the host of the television show Sport Fishing, Dan Hernandez.
On Friday morning at 9 a.m., members of the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce and other guests, along with Sport Chalet General Manager Josh Marker, will kick off the festivities with a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony. The San Marcos High School band will perform at the opening ceremony.
