SNL Communications has hired Dawn Boeckermann as the company’s newest Account Executive. Boeckermann’s primary focus will be on the action sports market, developing new business and working with existing clients to build and execute strategic public relations programs. Boeckermann will also collaborate with the company’s fashion division to align programs and opportunities when relevant and ensure strong synergy between the two segments.

“Dawn brings strong P.R. experience to SNL,” said SNL Communications partner Staci Levine. “Her media training, event and extensive pitching experience will be a great asset to our company.”

Boeckermann brings more than six years of P.R. experience to SNL. Most recently she handled marketing and public relations for a vast array of clients at Metropolitan Group, a full-service communications agency in Portland, Oregon. Prior to that, she worked in the marketing and promotions department at Clear Channel Entertainment.

In addition to developing new business opportunities and working with clients to build strategic public relations programs, Boeckermann will manage day-to-day activities necessary to ensure completion of communications initiatives. She will generate press and promotional materials, develop and pitch stories on behalf of SNL clients to the media, field media calls, monitor press coverage and plan special events.
