Snapper Rock, the lifestyle swimwear brand, announced that DeAnna Lamphere has joined the company as president. In this new role, DeAnna will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, operational execution and growth strategies for the brand.

“Snapper Rock has had tremendous growth over the past fifteen years” said Liz Eglinton, founder and CEO of Snapper Rock. “DeAnna’s wealth of knowledge and expertise in growth strategies and brand recognition will play a key role in driving long-term sales and profit growth of Snapper Rock and we are elated to have her part of our team.”

Before joining the Snapper Rock team, DeAnna served as the president and CEO of Naked&Famous Consulting, a consulting firm she established in 2016, which provides specialist services to domestic and international retailers. Prior to this, she served as the divisional general manager of Nordstrom overseeing full profit and loss responsibility for all brand management, product development, merchandising, design, sourcing, production and innovation.

“Snapper Rock has revolutionized the sun-protective swimwear category as well as raised awareness for sun safety for families across the world all while delivering great fashion and quality. I am thrilled to be part of such a passionate team,” said Lamphere. “Liz and the entire Snapper Rock team have built a successful company with a deep commitment to sun safety and to their customers, with many strengths to leverage. I look forward to helping propel the brand even further.”

Lamphere’s addition to the Snapper Rock team comes on the heels of rapid growth for the brand in recent years. Increased domestic and international distribution has allowed Snapper Rock to expand its retail footprint in both brick-and-mortar and online stores. The brand is known for its UPF-protective beachwear for children. The extension of product offerings in the adult and accessories categories has strengthened the brand’s presence in the swimwear industry and lends to its current success.
