SmartWool Hires Chapman as Controller

­ SmartWool announced the addition of John Chapman as their new Controller. Chapman was formerly the Chief Financial Officer at the publicly traded College Partnership, Inc.

³John brings to SmartWool a proven track record of developing back-end processes for high-growth companies,² said SmartWool President Chip Coe.
³In addition to his extensive experience in both public and private accounting, John is customer and service oriented, and will be a great benefit to SmartWool as we enter the next phase of our growth.²

Chapman joins SmartWool with extensive financial management experience. He began his career at Price Waterhouse Coopers and has since held senior financial management positions with several fast-growth companies. Chapman will be responsible for supervising both the financial and human resources functions within SmartWool.

Chapman first visited Colorado 25 years ago during his former life as a ski bum, and founded one of the state¹s first ³Mountain Trail Running Only² clubs in Evergreen, CO. He is eager to return to the mountain trails of Steamboat Springs and put SmartWool socks to the test.
