Canada’s leading e-commerce footwear and apparel retailer Shoes.com has named Bradley Wilson president effective August 22, 2016.

Wilson served as general manager at Expedia, in charge of the Travelocity business. Before that he served as chief marketing officer at Travelocity, growing it to a multi-billion-dollar travel marketplace that was successfully sold to Expedia in 2014. Previously, he held senior management roles at both Nutrisystem during their impressive market renaissance and at Match.com through their explosive growth years. Wilson brings with him the multi-brand operational experience needed to lead Shoes.com through its next phase of growth.

“After a thorough and deliberate selection process, Shoes.com is delighted to welcome Bradley as we navigate through the quickly evolving and expanding landscape of e-commerce,” said Roger Hardy, CEO and chairman. “Bradley has an expansive understanding of the needs of our customer and will continue to look for innovative ways to serve them and our vendor community. We are thrilled to have him take the helm of Shoes.com and lead us through the next stage of growth.”

In 2012, Shoes.com launched as a team of two in a basement suite in Vancouver B.C. and has since expanded to become Canada’s fastest growing e-commerce company. Between 2014 and 2015, the company’s sales grew by 150 percent, bringing 2015 annual revenues to over $200 million. Vancouver-based Shoes.com is committed to providing a curated experience for each individual guest. This past year Shoes.com was recognized by the Retail Council of Canada for best e-commerce experience in Canada of 2016.

“Shoes.com and its portfolio of brands are well positioned to change how customers find the shoes that they love,” said Wilson. “I am thrilled to lock arms with the forward-thinking team that’s been squarely focused on marrying technology and commerce. There is considerable opportunity ahead to provide the Shoes.com customers with an elevated and unique shopping experience. I have jumped in, feet first.”
