Shoe Carnival reported sales for the four-week period ended Feb. 28, 2004 increased 13.6 percent to $40.1 million from sales of $35.3 million for the four-week period ended March 1, 2003. Comparable store sales increased 4.7 percent in February 2004.
The Company also announced the opening of three stores during the month, one each in Austin, Texas; Lufkin, Texas and Vienna, W.Va.
