Jay Turkbas, vice president of sales and marketing for Shock Doctor footbeds, has announced the appointments of two new sales organizations in New England and in California.
The Pinnacle Outdoor Group, including Bob Bruce and Hal Ellms as principal representatives, will oversee Shock Doctors sales and marketing efforts in New England, including Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. Bob is headquartered in Falmouth, Maine and Hal in North Middlesex, Vermont.
In California, Shock Doctor will be represented by the Pacific Crest Trading Organization based in Big Bear and headed up by Dan Miller. Two associates including Derek Torio in Northern California and Brian Wilson in the Lake Tahoe area make up the rest of the team. Derek resides in San Raphael and Brian in Truckee.
Both organizations bring many years of outdoor and snow industry experience to the table. In addition to Shock Doctor, they also represent other strong national brands. Bruce and Ellms cover Mountainsmith, Vasque, Atlas, and CROCS while Miller, Torio, and Wilson work with Gregory, Sierra Designs, and Vasque. The background of both groups crosses many boundaries including buying, retailing, and sales management that will enhance their efforts to sell and promote Shock Doctor.
