Shawn Neville, former president of Footaction, has been named group
vice president, retail information services for Avery Dennison, the
office-supply and label manufacturer. Prior to joining Avery Dennison,
Shawn served as chief executive officer and director of Boathouse
Sports, a custom team apparel
manufacturer and brand.

In his new position, Neville will be a member of the company's
Corporate Leadership Team and report to Dean A. Scarborough, president
and chief executive officer of Avery Dennison. He will be based in
Framingham, Massachusetts and lead three divisions within the RIS
Group: Information and Brand Management, Printer Systems and Fastener.

“Shawn brings a broad experience base in retail operations, apparel and
footwear brand management, and consumer packaged goods,” said
Scarborough. “This unique mix of experience, combined with Shawn's
senior leadership skills, will help us continue to make progress
towards our transformation into the best-in-class supplier to major
retailers and apparel brand owners around the World.”

Neville had joined Boathouse Sports in September 2008. Prior to joining
Boathouse Sports, he had been president of Keds from July 2004 to July
2008. Previously, he held senior management positions with Footstar and
Reebok, including: Chief Executive Officer and President of Footstar's
Athletic retail division and GM of Reebok's North American division.
Neville started his career in consumer packaged goods with Procter and
Gamble and also worked for VISA USA, leading their retail and direct
marketing industry development. He earned a BSBA degree from the
University of Denver.

Terry Hemmelgarn, the current Group Vice President of the RIS group,
will assume the role of Vice President and General Manager of the
Information and Brand Management Division reporting to Neville.

“Terry has done an outstanding job leading the transformation to date
including the integration of Paxar into the RIS group,” said
Scarborough. “Terry's deeper focus on the largest division within the
group, which he has been managing directly for the past year, is
important for us to achieve the goals we have set forth for both the
short and the long term.”
