In 1992, Pepsi partnered with Shaquille O’Neal and Reebok, celebrating his taking Orlando and the league by storm. Fast forward 32 years, and Pepsi has collaborated again with Shaq, president of Basketball at Reebok, on the Pepsi ‘Sneak’er.

With the help of Shoe Surgeon, an original pair of Reebok Pump Shaq Attaqs, size 22, were retro-fitted to hold a mini can of Pepsi in the sole, which he wore during All-Star weekend. An additional 22 pairs were manufactured and will be available for fans this week during a one-time Pepsi sweepstake. 

Key features include:

  • Reebok’s “Pump” was turned into the Pepsi Globe;
  • The custom colorway leverages Pepsi’s color palette of electric blue and black, including paint splatter detailing on the outsole, a black and blue Pepsi pattern on the insole, and custom electric blue laces, doubling as a callback to Shaq’s first NBA team, the Orlando Magic, colors; and
  • The main feature on the shoe’s sole is an electric blue leather chamber custom-built to hold a mini can of Pepsi.

Now I’m pumped that I never have to be without my Pepsi mini cans.”

Twenty-two fans can bring home a Pepsi ‘Sneak’er in Shaq’s size 22 today through February 25 by posting a photo or video on social showcasing their love for the mini Pepsi with the hashtag #PepsiMinis #Sweepstakes.
