Al Nicholas, former SGAA 1993 Lifetime Sales Achievement Award recipient, passed away March 27, 2003, after a long illness. Nicholas, 74, had been in the sporting business since 1969 and opened his rep agency, Nicholas Associates in 1985.
Upon his retirement, Al passed the family business on to son Peter Nicholas, who has continued to run this successful agency out of Pittsburgh, PA. Daughter Amy also inherited the family flair for sales and is a Key Account Manager for Converse.
In addition to Peter and Amy, Al Nicholas is survived by wife Sandy, son Drew and three grandchildren. Condolences may be mailed to the family at 6016 West Grove Circle, Gibsonia, PA 15044.
