Marin Group International LLC announced it is relaunching the internationally renowned Sergio Tacchini brand after a 10 year hiatus in North America. Under this new partnership agreement with Milan based Sergio Tacchini S.p.A., MGI has the exclusive rights to license and distribute Sergio Tacchini sportswear, tennis apparel, footwear, and accessories in the United States, Canada, and Mexico for a term of 12 years.

The Sergio Tacchini brand had a successful history in the U.S. when North American distribution was operated by the Italian parent company. As the brand became more successful internationally, the Sergio Tacchini Group decided to concentrate on its global business and find a partner to operate the business in North America.

Led by industry veterans Ron Page, president & CEO, and Tom Seavey, managing partner & director of sales, MGI was formed in October 2004 to operate the Sergio Tacchini business in North America.

“We have been working for a long time to reach an agreement that would allow us to launch the entire world of Sergio Tacchini in North America, including footwear sportswear, tennis apparel and accessories” said Ron Page. “The brand has an extremely successful history and the kind of unique style our market demands. I am convinced that our collaboration with the Sergio Tacchini Group, combined with strength of the brand, will rapidly yield the results we intend to achieve.”

“We are happy to have partnered with an organization that has tremendous experience and talent within the apparel, footwear and athletic industry,” said Alessandro Tacchini, CEO, Sergio Tacchini S.p.A. “Our active participation in this project will permit the invaluable flow of information
and expertise between Italy and the United States to bring our brand’s unmistakable Italian style and authenticity to North America.”

Positioning the Sergio Tacchini brand as accessible luxury, MGI intends to distribute footwear, tennis, and active wear through a limited number of targeted retailers through a national independent sales force.

Sergio Tacchini will make its formal debut at the WSA show this August at the Mandalay Bay where it will launch its Spring/Summer 2006 collection of sports specific and lifestyle footwear developed exclusively for the North
American market, complemented by apparel from the international collection.

According to tennis legend and successful entrepreneur Mr. Sergio Tacchini who is still involved with the Company today, “Our company is one of the few Italian athletic and sportswear businesses that is still operated under the
original family ownership, and has built and maintained a successful brand name and image internationally.”
