Seirus’ is introducing two Heat Wave Base Layers —Body-Mapped and Reversible — offering warmth without bulk and incorporating its proprietary HeatWave fabric with added wicking and ventilating fabrics.

“Seirus HeatWave technology offers a dual-stage heating system that combines reflective technology with kinetic properties to amplify body heat and reflect it back to the wearer. By itself, the engineered Thermal Reflective Layer amplifies 20 percent more warmth inside than traditional linings. And a kinetic process uses the wicking energy to generate a 4-to-5 degree increase in warmth, keeping the wearer drier and making for an incredibly thin and versatile, actively performing fabric,” noted in a press release.

“Our HeatWave fabric has been a fan favorite for years,” said Danica Carey, Director of Marketing at Seirus. “Creating Base Layers is not only a natural extension for the fabric and the brand, but our customers have been asking for it. We’re always looking for ways to provide versatility in our products and create items that perform for multiple activities and applications, and this all-new line lets us take versatility to another level of cross-over between active and leisure time giving us all more opportunities to have fun longer without having to bring extra gear along.”

  • HeatWave Mapped Base Layers — feature a combination of three fabrics. Seirus’ Mapped Base Layers combine four-way stretch HeatWave fabric in key locations like shoulders, arms and lower back. Strategically placed MaxWick fabric and high-performance Polygiene anti-microbial mesh at perspiration zones keep skin dry by releasing excess heat and moisture. Available in women’s and men’s tops and bottoms.

  • HeatWave Reversible Base Layers — offer full HeatWave fabric coverage in a reversible design with the reflective side out or flipped inside out for solid color. Either direction, the fabric maintains full functionality.
