Sebago has signed on as a sponsor of the 42nd Annual Newport International Boat Show to be held Sept. 13-16 in downtown Newport, R.I.
“We are thrilled to be the official footwear sponsor of the Newport International Boat Show,” Sebago group VP and general manager Gary Malamet said in a statement. “We are excited to have the opportunity to engage directly with consumers attending the event by providing an in-depth conversation of Sebago’s history and sharing our understanding of the boating lifestyle.”
Other sponsors are Soundings and Yachting magazines, Harbor Town wine, Helly Hansen, Sea Bags, Ramada, Pepsi and Volkswagen.
Sebago also will be the official footwear sponsor of the Newport Yachting Center and Marina for the entire summer. In addition to that sponsorship, the company will exhibit and sell at the Chowder Cook-off (June 2). Sebago also will exhibit and sell at the Newport Yachting Center during the America’s Cup World Series (June 28-July 1) and the Tall Ships event (July 5-8).
