Sea to Summit announced the addition of several new strategic hires within its North American team to accelerate the brand’s growth in its largest market.

In November 2020, the company hired Sally McCoy as global executive chair, and since then “has expanded and recalibrated its business significantly,” said the company.

Josh Simpson, Sea to Summit’s North American GM, said “Brands don’t grow without great people. Sally has been a welcomed addition and is providing strategic guidance as we align a global organization operating on four continents. We’ve looked really closely at our internal structure and made the changes we feel are going to position us to scale the business rapidly.”

Amanda Schreier has been hired as senior manager, digital, to lead its DTC sales channel.

Hannah Bowden joined the company as brand marketing manager to lead an expanding North American team working with its global brand team in Perth.

Abe Bergen takes on a new senior role as sale operations director overseeing its retail and digital support team managed by Katey Church.

“It’s been an exciting year since we acquired the North American business last June,” said Simpson. “Our team has worked incredibly hard, first to navigate the changes to our day-to-day brought on by the pandemic, now we’re in the midst of unprecedented demand and rapid growth. I’m incredibly proud of this team and grateful to each and every person in this organization for the hard work and dedication each one of them shows up with every day.”

Sea to Summit North America operates from Boulder, CO where it has been based since 2004. The company’s global headquarters are in Perth, Western Australia where the company was founded in 1983.
