After a flurry of new appointments recently at its Scott USA subsidiary, Scott Sports has appointed Juwon Kim and Pascal Ducrot to new roles as co-CEOs and to its executive leadership team.

The company said the expanded leadership team includes CFO Baris Alev, Chief Commercial Officer Adrian Zahnd, Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Digital Officer Reto Aeschbacher, and Holger Klinter and Claudio Benelli as co-chief operating officers.

Adrian Lutz is head of Bike, Gerhard Mollenkopf is head of Soft Goods, and the company will appoint a head of Footwear in the future.

“The new leadership team will lead a transition plan, which is committed to focusing on Scott’s core business while honoring its unique passion and culture, working together to stabilize the company following a turbulent period for the sporting goods industry,” the company stated in a media release.

The company said the bike business – at more than 80 percent of the company’s revenue – will become the central priority, where Scott will increase its investment into the development of world-class products according to its values of Innovation, Technology and Design, while targeting growth markets including E-Bikes and Urban mobility.

Scott will also reportedly place additional focus for the future on its apparel and footwear competencies, together with Dolomite, as a significant revenue driver and continue to develop its well-loved products for Bike, Running, Winter and Outdoor.

“The Leadership Team will continue to be proactively engaged in evaluating and growing Scott’s current operations, and in supporting the move into the next chapter for Scott,” the company concluded.
