On Wolverine Worldwide’s first-quarter conference call, Blake Krueger, chairman, CEO and president, said all associates at Wolverine’s Boston office and from Saucony, headquartered in Lexington, MA, have been accounted for following the Boston Marathon explosions.
Mr. Krueger stated at the start of his remarks, “Before we start this morning, I just want to speak about the tragic events that occurred yesterday in Boston. We had many associates from our Boston campus and the Saucony team in attendance. While Im relieved to report that everyone from the team is safe and accounted for, it’s certainly a deplorable tragedy at one of our nation’s great events. The thoughts and prayers of the entire Wolverine World Wide team go out to the people of Boston and the families affected by the bombings.”
