Amer Sports is reporting that, effective immediately, Franco Fogliato, president and CEO of Salomon, is leaving the company for personal reasons.
James Zheng, CEO, Amer Sports, will reportedly lead Salomon and the Outdoor Performance division on an interim basis to ensure business continuity until the company identifies Fogliato’s successor.
Amer Sports said it “is grateful for Mr. Fogliato’s leadership and dedication throughout his tenure and wishes him success in his future endeavors. Mr. Fogliato leaves the business in a healthy position, poised for continued growth.”
Salomon manufacturers footwear and winter sports equipment and reported it “will continue to invest in its Outdoor
Performance segment to drive long-term profitable growth.”
