As the eyes of the sports world turn to Paris this summer, it is not surprising to find active lifestyle brands looking to make a splash in Paris and its surrounding areas.
French-born active lifestyle brand Salomon reported opening its first Salomon Sportstyle brand store in Paris’ Le Marais neighborhood at the end of April—a prime location in the heart of the 4th Arrondissement and aligns the Salomon brand alongside boutique stores, design firms and galleries.
“Our Le Marais store features our most extensive range of Sportstyle footwear, including the latest collaborations with noted designers and fashion labels. You’ll find shoes from the Advanced label and the best sneakers, including the highly sought-after XT-6 model.
“In the heart of the city’s most trendy, artsy and vibrant cultural hotspot, the Le Marais store is a 100-square-meter footwear boutique mostly dedicated to Sportstyle,” said Store Manager Florian Louis-Marie in a LinkedIn post.
The new store is in addition to Salomon’s recently reported new Champs-Élysées Flagship store, boasting 295 square meters of shopping space on the ground floor and basement levels.
“The stunning façade, reaching the top of the building, brings a mountain-themed feel to this exclusive urban location,” said Pascal Clausse, global VP for direct-to-consumer at Salomon.
Clausse shared in a LinkedIn post that Salomon is the first mountain sports lifestyle company with a flagship on the Champs-Élysées.
“This store was designed to allow visitors to experience the full scope of what Salomon has to offer—from premium footwear, apparel and gear for running and hiking to winter sports equipment,” he noted. “Sneaker fans can also find a full wall of Salomon’s increasingly in-demand Sportstyle footwear.”
“I’m extremely proud to announce the opening of our new flagship store at 42 Avenue des Champs-Élysées—a major milestone for our brand, born in 1947 in Annecy in the French Alps,” Clausse concluded.
