Sea to Summit welcomed Sally McCoy to its global leadership team. McCoy accepted the newly created position of Executive Chair of Sea to Summit and will assume responsibility for the brand’s global strategy and expansion.

McCoy, is an experienced veteran of the global outdoor industry having served as CEO of CamelBak, President of Sierra Designs, and Vice President of The North Face. She has also served as Board Chair for the Outdoor Industry Association, Conversation A

“We had the privilege of working with Sally when Sea to Summit became the Australian distributor of CamelBak and quickly became good friends,” said Roland Tyson founder, and head of design and Penny Sanderson, the company’s co-owner and director. “We’re extremely fortunate to have her high-caliber industry experience and collaborative leadership style as we continue to experience major transformation as a global adventure brand.”

Based in the U.S., McCoy will work closely with the North American Sea to Summit office led by Josh Simpson, and provide strategic leadership for the company’s global wholesale distribution, manufacturing, marketing, and DTC business.

Of joining Sea to Summit’s global leadership team, McCoy said, “I am thrilled to be joining Roland, Penny and the Sea to Summit team. I think they are the most authentic and innovative brand in the outdoor industry. I look forward to contributing to its potential.“
