The RV Industry Association (RVIA) tapped Jason Rano, a senior government relations executive with over 18 years of experience in legislative and regulatory initiatives, as VP of government affairs, effective immediately.

Reporting directly to RVIA President and CEO Craig Kirby, Rano is responsible for “promoting and protecting the RVIA member interests in state and federal legislation and regulations.”

“Jason’s proven track record of success building bipartisan coalitions and engaging with administration officials, members of Congress, Congressional staff, committees, and key partners and stakeholders, make him the ideal leader for the RV industry’s efforts to move policy objectives on Capitol Hill and in state legislatures across the country,” said Kirby. “I couldn’t be more excited for Jason to lead the RV Industry Association’s talented and dedicated government affairs team.”

Rano comes to the RV Industry Association from Rivian, where he was the senior partnership development manager leading the company’s efforts to deploy electric vehicle chargers on public lands through partnerships with public land agencies, non-profit partners, concessioners, utilities, and others.

Rano will work alongside the RVIA’s vice president of government affairs, Jay Landers, until his retirement at the end of March.
