Russell Athletic reached an agreement to supply Southern Miss Department of Athletics with athletic apparel for its intercollegiate sports teams.
The agreement covers five years and encompasses total compensation for the University of $2.75 million.

The uniforms will give the Golden Eagles a new look for the upcoming season, and will feature the following state of the art technology:
* New “MSC” fabric with improved durability along with mesh construction for breathability
* This fabric has high stretch and high strength for added compression
* New “RussTwill” that reduces jersey weight and gives more stretch for airtight fit
* New neck construction for a more comfortable fit
The deal begins with the 2013-14 academic year and will run through the end of the 2018-19 athletic schedules.
