The Running Industry Association (RIA) announced it would host an in-person industry event, Runchella, in Denver, CO from September 27-29.
Runchella will be a “social symposium with the core goal of reconnecting with industry peers in the specialty run channel. Retailers will interact with each other and the industry’s top brands in several planned social events, while the event will also offer educational content in the form of information sessions and peer discussions on trending topics.”
“Runchella is all about putting lockdown in the rearview and reconnecting in a fun, relaxed setting,” said Terry Schalow RIA executive director. “No sales presentations, just many opportunities to socialize as well as learn about business best practices on a variety of subjects. Results from a recent survey we did show that peer connection is one of the most compelling member benefits, so we are continuing to provide ways for our members to engage and learn from each other.”
The event will also include business information sessions and educational tracks for retailers, general managers and buyers, with peer sharing sessions and brand meetings.
The event will be held at The Curtis Hotel in downtown Denver.
