The Running Specialty Group (RSG) has acquired Run Colorado, increasing its stake in the Colorado market to five shops, including the four operated by Boulder Running Company.

Run Colorado was founded in 2009 and operates a single store in Greenwood Village.
RSG is an operating segment of The Finish Line Inc. that now includes 66 specialty running stores in 15 states and the District of Columbia under The Running Company, Run On!, Blue Mile, Boulder Running Company, Ronckers Running Spot, Running Fit, VA Runner, Capital RunWalk, Richmond RoadRunner and Garry Gribbles Running Sports banners.
