Rocky Brands, Inc. has entered into a new, multi-year distribution agreement with United Kingdom-based Garlands, a distributor of hunting apparel and sporting goods.

Mike Brooks, CEO of Rocky Brands, said the company will begin shipping outdoor footwear and apparel to Garlands this fall. Garlands distributes products to more than 1,000 retailers throughout England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland.

“Garlands has been in the outdoor business for thirty years,” Brooks said. “They are the leading purveyor of shooting sports gear in the United Kingdom, and that is why they are such a great fit for Rocky.”

James Garland, managing director of Garlands, said, “Rocky is the premiere footwear and apparel hunting brand in North America. It fits perfectly with the other sports brands we distribute. The brand is already well respected in the United Kingdom and we are delighted that we will now make it readily available to our dealer base.”

Brooks said the agreement was part of the Rocky's continuing strategy to distribute its sporting goods throughout Europe. In 2008, Rocky entered into a multi-year agreement with Rapala VMC Oyj for distribution of Rocky-branded hunting boots in Eastern Europe and the Baltic States.
