SIG SAUER announced that Robby Johnson has joined the manufacturer’s Military Sales and Product Development Group. He will also compete in select 3-gun matches with SIG SAUER pistols and rifles.

A veteran U.S. Army sniper and member of the Army Marksmanship Unit (AMU), Johnson brings a wealth of military and special operations experience to the SIG SAUER team.

“Robby provides invaluable insights into the needs of the soldier on the ground,” said Ron Cohen, Chief Executive Officer and President of SIG SAUER Ron Cohen. “On top of that, he’s also one of the world’s premier tactical marksmen, which brings a whole new level of experience and expertise.”

Johnson was part of the AMU sniper team that became the first to win back-to-back titles at the International Sniper Competition. This annual competition draws the world’s best sniper teams to Fort Benning, GA, for a test of their fieldcraft, planning, communication and marksmanship skills.
