Road Runner Sports will celebrate the 29th Road Runner Sports store opening nationwide and the third store opening in Illinois during grand opening festivities Friday, March 22. The celebration, with a VIP exclusive event sponsored by Mizuno, will continue through Sunday, March 24th.
The new Road Runner Sports Kildeer store is located at the Kildeer Marketplace at 20291 North Rand Road Kildeer, IL, next to the new Whole Foods.
Based in San Diego, Calif., Road Runner Sports began in 1983 as a catalog, direct mail company in owner Mike Gotfredson’s garage. Despite such modest beginnings, Road Runner Sports now employs more than 754 employees at more than 30 stores across the U.S. and at its online store.
