Riomar launched a luxury leather goods collection crafted from the same waterproof leather the company uses in its branded footwear and belts, prioritizing durability, functionality and sophistication.

The bag collection embodies the “boat to boardroom” ethos, transitioning from outdoor to professional settings. Inspired by Florida’s watermen, the collection offers products built to withstand the demands of travel while maintaining style and organization.

The Club Travel Bag, the first in the series, is made from waterproof European Halyard leather. The interior is lined with ripstop nylon and a repurposed sailboat sailcloth, “both luxurious and practical.”  Other key features include a waterproof shoe/laundry pouch, two exterior end pockets, and one side pocket, as well as an adjustable, removable Nylon shoulder strap in a compact, travel-friendly size—19″ L x 11″ H x 16″ W.

“The new bag collection embodies the essence of Riomar’s lifestyle,” said Lange Sykes, founder of Riomar. “We wanted to create high-quality, multi-functional products that support an active and dynamic life, no matter where your travels take you.”

Riomar, founded by Sykes in 2012, is headquartered in Vero Beach, FL. The company manufactures footwear, bags and accessories for men and women designed for life on and off the water.  Sykes is inspired by the culture and coastline of Portugal’s southernmost region and where the brands shoes are manufactured. The company sources materials from environmentally and socially responsible manufacturers and tanneries, which are waterproofed. Shoes include professional-grade non-skid soles.

The brand’s ethos, “Change Your Bearings, Not Your Sole,” represents its commitment to “crafting versatile products that transition effortlessly between life’s many adventures.”
