Franklin Resource Group announced the departure of Layne Rigney, Vice President and General Manager. Rigney has been responsible for the daily operations of the industry-leading retail execution provider for the past two years and has played a significant role in the company’s growth.

“Layne did a great job focusing the organization’s efforts against operational improvement and, as a result, greatly aided our ability to provide sustainable value to our client partners.” said Marty Lillis, President. “While we are sorry to see him leave, we are confident that Franklin Resource Group is well-positioned for the next phase of our development as an organization.” stated Lillis. Rigney will remain an active member of Franklin Resource Group’s board of directors.

According to Rigney, “I was a client who was so pleased with the service Franklin provides that I decided to join the company. As I depart the organization, I remain a firm believer in both the need for retail execution solutions and Franklin’s ability to provide a specialized service that isn’t otherwise available.” Rigney has accepted another position within the industry.

Industry veteran Peter Goehrig, a strategic planning consultant to the company and member of the board of directors, will serve as interim General Manager.
