After touring across the Northeast and Midwest in search of the best collegiate foosball players, Rider Sandals has completed their Fall 2013 Foosball Tour.
Throughout the month of September, Rider Sandals made stops into ten college campuses throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, and Pennsylvania, to meet and gain insight into the core consumer group of the college demographic.
Over the course of the tour, Rider Sandals met thousands upon thousands of new Rider fans, crowned ten new Collegiate Foosball Champs, gave away tons of free Rider giveaways, and registered hundreds of students for a chance to win a free Panama City Beach spring break trip!
“The Foosball Tours allow us to really get in the heads of the college consumer and gives us great insight into what they are really looking for in our sandals and brand. The foosball events are fun and casual making it a great atmosphere to introduce these students to the brand,” said Angelo Daros, Vice President of Marketing, Grendene USA.
Overall, the tour was a huge success for the brand. Thousands of new college students have been introduced to the brand, thousands of email addresses have been collected and the social media pages saw big increases.
Rider Sandals plans to announce the Spring Foosball Tour soon, which will include 15 new campuses across the US!
