Natural Golf Corporation has appointed Richard Magid, 44, as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective January 19, 2004. Magid, a member of the Company's Board of Directors since May 2003, replaces Frederic 'Rick' Schweiger, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities.
Magid previously served as CFO of Sportvision, Inc. following the company's merger in 2002 with Ignite Sports, Inc., where he was CFO since 2001. Prior to that, he was Chief Operating Officer of Edventions, Inc., a technology infrastructure company. From 1992-1999, Mr. Magid served in various capacities, including CFO and COO, of HA-LO Industries, Inc. He began his professional career with Arthur Andersen & Co. where he worked from 1981-1992 and is a CPA. Magid earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois in 1981.
