R.G. Barry Corporation , the Dearfoams company, has named Juliana J.
Prather brand president for its recently licensed Superga canvas/active
fashion footwear business.
Prather most recently worked at Neofocus Strategy Consulting, a global
strategic consulting firm, leading projects for global brand management
and retail. She previously held several director level positions in
international apparel and accessory business units at Liz Claiborne
Inc. and served as vice president-managing director of international
sales and marketing for the Victoria+ Co., Inc., division of the Jones
Apparel Group. Prather holds an undergraduate degree in international
relations from Stanford University and a master's degree in
international affairs from Columbia University.

canvas/active fashion footwear brands. Under a licensing agreement with
BasicNet S.p.A. of Turin, Italy, through its U.S. affiliate, Basic
Properties America, Inc., R.G. Barry Corporation is the exclusive
United States licensee for Superga(R) brand footwear. The Company will
also become the exclusive Canadian licensee for Superga(R) beginning in
July 2008.
