US Sailing has named Revo an official partner of US Sailing and The US Sailing Team, joining a roster of partners. The national governing body of sailing said Revo is the 16th addition in the past 12 months, aligning with brands that “match the organization’s goals.”

“I have been boating and sailing all my life, so to have the opportunity to support the US Sailing Team is a great honor for me personally,” shared CEO Cliff Robinson. “We want to make sure athletes have the best gear available to them and we are proud that the US Sailing Team will have the best performance and protection now that they will be outfitted in Revo.”

Revo will outfit the entire US Sailing Team to compete internationally, marking a global representation between the organizations.

“We are thrilled to have Revo as our partner,” said Eric Krasnoo, SVP of partnerships and membership at US Sailing. “Revo products provide high-level functionality and style that our members crave and will be a great addition to the team’s gear.”

Revo was founded in 1985 when NASA Astrophysicist and Optical Engineer Dr. Mitch Ruda was working on a project for the government agency when he came up with the idea to use the same coatings applied to protect satellites on glasses to protect eyes from the sun. Since then, Revo has offered advanced high-contrast polarized eyewear.
