Retrospec has appointed Nick Marvik as the company’s new head of growth. The LA-based outdoor gear brand said Marvik will focus on scaling its e-commerce operations, spearheading strategic initiatives to enhance its digital presence and drive growth.

“I’m incredibly excited to join Retrospec at such a pivotal moment in its growth trajectory,” said Marvik. “The brand has a strong foundation and a passionate community, and I look forward to driving meaningful growth and helping more people discover the joy of outdoor adventures.”

Marvik was, most recently, a senior manager for growth marketing at outdoor gear retailer Evo.com for over nine years.

“We are thrilled to welcome Nick to the Retrospec family,” said CEO Ely Khakshouri. “His expertise in scaling digital eCommerce businesses and deep understanding of the categories we play in will be instrumental as we accelerate our online presence and strengthen our marketing operations.”

Marvik will reportedly “take charge” of Retrospec’s e-commerce operations, performance marketing efforts and customer acquisition plans. The company said that “he will focus on using data-driven insights and creative digital strategies to improve the customer experience and drive category expansion.”

“As Retrospec continues to expand its reach and product offerings, [Marvic’s] leadership will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s next phase of digital evolution.”
