Puma has signed Tyrese Haliburton to a “massive” multi-year shoe deal to make the star Indiana Pacers point guard the “future face” of the brand in basketball.

Haliburton signed with Nike as a rookie in 2022.

The 24-year-old earned an All-Star selection in each of the last two seasons and was the 2024 NBA assists leader. He recently won a gold medal with Team USA at the Paris Olympics.

Puma returned to the sport of basketball in 2018. Its highest-profile player has been Charlotte Hornets point guard LaMelo Ball, who had the fourth installment of his signature shoe released last month. Portland Trail Blazers point guard Scoot Henderson, signed as a rookie last year, has two signature models.

Puma’s NBA ambassadors also include Kyle Kuzma, R.J. Barrett, Michael Porter Jr and Marcus Smart. Puma also sponsors Skylar Diggins-Smith and Breanna Stewart in the WNBA.
