REI Co-op’s planned opening of a retail store in Billings, MT, in spring 2020 has been postponed due to the ongoing pandemic.
REI closed all its 162 stores on March 16 with the closures recently extended indefinitely.
Employees who had been hired in Billings have had their offers “rescinded,” an REI spokesperson told the Independent Record. The store will be REI’s fourth in the state.
