REI Co-op is scheduled to open a store in Mount Pleasant, SC on February 17. Located in Indigo Square at 1720 Shoremeade Road, the store measures 21,500 square feet.
“We’ve had many highlights opening the store, including meeting residents who share our excitement to be part of the community and connecting with nonprofits doing incredible work to protect natural spaces and help others achieve an active lifestyle,” said Lori Bump, REI store manager.
REI said there are more than 30,000 members in the Mount Pleasant/Charleston region DMA and more than 181,000 members across South Carolina.
The closest stores to the new location are Columbia, SC; Pineville, NC; and Greenville, SC. REI has 179 locations in 42 states and the District of Columbia.
