For the 2004-05 winter seasons, Redfeather marketed a unique snowshoe model called the “Freedom” to benefit the NSCD as well as celebrate its 15th anniversary. A total of 5% of its total sales went to the NSCD as well as an exclusive hangtag created to illustrate this contribution to consumers. In addition, the company donated a percentage of its sales profits from its entire line this past year to help the NSCD provide quality outdoor sports and therapeutic recreation programs.

“I would like to extend my most ardent thanks to the Redfeather Snowshoes team for continuing their relationship so faithfully with the NSCD,” said
Beth Fox, Operations Manager of NSCD. “Their support has allowed us to extend therapeutic recreation services through snowshoeing to many people who may never have been able to participate in our other winter sports programs. We feel it extremely important that diverse programming is
available so that people of all interests and abilities can participate in recreation for enjoyment and to meet their therapeutic goals.”

“We were thrilled to provide snowshoes to the NSCD to help positively impact the lives of people with physical, cognitive, emotional, or behavioral challenges,” said Allan Kettlehut, president of Redfeather. “We look forward
to continuing this relationship into the future.”

“I wish that I could accurately portray on paper the sense of accomplishment that is in the air when I see the beaming face of a participant or hear them call out 'I did it!' as they finish an adventure on their Redfeather
snowshoes through the quiet woods,” said Fox of NSCD. “Redfeather Snowshoes is a company to be admired for their community awareness and partnerships.”

The National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD) began in 1970 as a one-time ski lesson for children with amputations for the Children's Hospital of Denver. Today, the NSCD is one of the largest outdoor therapeutic recreation agencies in the world. Each year, thousands of
children and adults with disabilities take to the ski slopes, mountain trails and golf courses to learn more about sports – and themselves. With specially trained staff and its own adaptive equipment lab, the NSCD teaches
a variety of winter and summer sports and activities to individuals with almost any physical, cognitive, emotional, or behavioral diagnosis.
