The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Nautilus, Inc. have recalled about 78,000 Bowflex Ultimate 2 Home Gyms after it was determined the unit's horizontal seat rail can unexpectedly fall on the user or bystander. According to the release, the home gym's horizontal seat rail is designed to be latched in a vertical positions for storage, but can fall if not manually latched.
Nautilus has received 18 reports of injuries caused bu unlatched seat rails that have fallen, resulting in head and shoulder lacerations.
