Bluetorch Inc. announced that Read Worth has been appointed to the Bluetorch Inc. board of directors effective today. Mr. Worth replaces Scott Battenburg on Bluetorch Inc.'s board. Mr. Battenburg resigned in order to become the Chief Financial Officer of Bluetorch Inc. as announced by the Company on January 16, 2004.

Read Worth's years of expertise began at Nike apparel, an early innovator in functional sportswear. After his tenure at Nike, Worth led merchandising at Patagonia and was then named Senior Vice President of Champs (Foot Locker Division), where he built the Company's private label program from zero to over $500 million in sales at retail. Worth then advanced to Senior Vice President/GMM of RLX Polo Sport before joining the Gerry Group, where he now serves as Vice President and manages the company's apparel brands.
