Grant, who has been with the national footwear retailer for nearly a decade, will continue to support women’s buying activities for the company, specifically in women’s dress shoes.

Grant joined Rack Room Shoes in 2005 as a merchandiser and was promoted to associate buyer in 2006. She came to the retailer with experience as a fashion merchandising instructor at the Art Institute of Charlotte.

Prior to her teaching position, Grant worked as an assistant buyer for Heyman Corporation where she was heavily involved in merchandise selection, inventory analysis and product development. In her expanded position with the retailer, Grant will continue to report to Rack Room Shoes Women’s Buyer Steve Mahan.
