Quiksilver opened its first company-owned, full-priced, retail store north of the border in Montreal, Canada. The new store located in downtown Montreal on St. Catherine Street boasts 3200 square feet of retail space and showcases the brand's defining style. The store offers a distinctive selection of Quiksilver, Roxy, Quiksilver Boys, and Roxy Girl.
Quiksilver owns nearly 100 retail stores in North America and hundreds more around the world. Quiksilver currently has four licensee stores and one factory store in western Canada. The new company-owned Montreal store is a ground-breaking moment for Quiksilver retail as it signifies the first presence of its kind in Canada. The Montreal store will host a Grand Opening Party on May 26. Twenty-five percent of the day's proceeds will benefit Operation Enfant Soleil, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the social development of children. Buzz radio will broadcast live from the store with plenty of giveaways. That evening Quiksilver will also host a special VIP party inside the store followed by an after-party at the Hard Rock Café with live music from Digital Crush.
