Pure Hockey has opened a retail store in New Albany, OH, a suburb of Columbus. The store is the company’s third in Ohio and 84th overall.
Pure Hockey also operates retail stores in Columbus and Mayfield Heights, OH, respectively.
“We’re excited to continue growing our presence in Ohio with the opening of our third Pure Hockey location in New Albany,” said company CEO David Nectow. “Ohio is a market where we continue to see growth and engagement from a vibrant hockey community. Our new location allows us to better support players and families in the region by providing top-tier equipment, education, and an unmatched shopping experience.”
Pure Hockey, headquartered outside of Boston, was founded in 1994 and was acquired by David Nectow and Sal Tiano in 2008. Pure Hockey is the official hockey equipment retailer of USA Hockey and the retail partner of the NHL/NHLPA’s Learn to Play Program, which supports the growth of the sport at the grassroots level.
Pure Hockey will host a grand opening for its New Albany, OH, store later this year.
