Pure Hockey parent company TSG Enterprises, LLC, one of the largest specialty hockey and lacrosse retailer in the U.S., has acquired Total Hockey, Inc.
TSG is also owner of the Hockey Giant, Pure Goalie and Commonwealth Lacrosse (“ComLax”) brands.
With the acquisition, TSG will now operate 54 retail locations across the U.S., as well as seven e-commerce websites focused on hockey, lacrosse and goalie equipment.

The acquisition gives us access to exciting new markets such as Missouri, Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan, Maryland, Utah and Colorado, and also enables us to strengthen our presence in existing markets,” said David Nectow, president, TSG.
He continued, “Despite some recent financial difficulties, Total Hockey has built a strong brand, best-in-class technologies and an overall culture of success that will help TSG continue to grow our retail and e-commerce operations across the U.S. to best meet the evolving needs of our customers. TSG will maintain an office in St. Louis, while being headquartered outside of Boston.
