Puma’s NYC Flagship hosted A$AP Rocky last night, November 7, to debut his latest motorsport-inspired collection of Puma footwear, apparel, and accessories.
Rakim Athelaston Mayers, born October 3, 1988, is an American rapper known professionally as A$AP Rocky. Born and raised in Harlem, he started his musical career as a member of the hip-hop collective ASAP Mob, where he adopted his moniker.
Puma created the store event for customers to feature the collection with performances by A$AP Rocky, A$AP Lou and SS4K. The store had customization stations, interactive photo ops, and other activations to engage the attendees.
The night-racing and neon-light-inspired Puma x A$AP Rocky collection continues to push footwear design and offers a new Mostro 3.D colorway and a restock of his take on the Inhale Sneaker, re-engineered with an all-over distressed treatment and custom embroidery.
