O'Neill appointed Keith Harkess as general manager product and supply. Harkess joins O'Neill from PUMA where he has been general manager responsible for the global apparel business since 2005.

O'Neill CEO Jan Valdmaa said in a statement that believes that Keith's industry knowledge and experience will be a huge asset in developing O'Neill's growth.

“Keith will be a strong addition to our team,” said Jan. “He brings with him an understanding of a global industry that stretches from sport performance to fashion. His knowledge and experience will help accelerate the growth of our brand and also act as a catalyst for a global range building exercise,” he said.

Prior to joining PUMA, Harkess was President of Dockers Europe and earlier was Senior VP of Global Apparel, Accessories and Hardware at adidas.

His move to O'Neill is one that he is eagerly anticipating; “As a keen skier O'Neill is a brand that I strongly identify with,” said Harkess. “Using my experience coupled with my understanding of the brand I hope to help bring it to the next level.”

Valdmaa, formerly CEO of Helly Hanson as well as VP Global Marketing at adidas, became CEO of O'Neill in April.
