Puma announced it has appointed Markus Neubrand as its chief financial officer (CFO) and a member of the company’s Board, effective October 1, 2024.
Before accepting the role, Neubrand was the CFO for Guess. He was also the CFO for the luxury fashion brand MCM Worldwide and the chief operating and financial officer at Hugo Boss, Americas region.
As Puma’s CFO, Neubrand will oversee Finance, Investor Relations, Legal, IT, and Business Solutions. He replaces current CFO Hubert Hinterseher, who has mutually agreed to step down on September 30, 2024. He will leave the company on December 31, 2024, after successfully transitioning his duties to Neubrand.

Effective October 1, 2024, Puma’s Management Board will consist of Arne Freundt (CEO), Markus Neubrand (CFO), Maria Valdes (CPO), and Anne-Laure Descours (CSO).
